We are excited to announce that our Phase I - Just Keep Writing section is now accessible from our Home Page! This special study area has been designed as a writing learning tool for elementary students (2nd-5th) and is also terrific for middle school students when needing a writing skill refresher. The Write Your Own aspect is having its final touches put on, to include interactive graphic organizers, and will be available in March.
We hope JKW is useful as an enhancement when your children are preparing for the statewide essay writing exam, as the content mirrors the state criteria. The cool cast of friends offer them helpful hints that will act as fun reminders when testing rolls around.
Have fun with our newest addition - and Just Keep Writing!

QW Releases newest study section - "Just Logical!"
Multiple Choice quizzing on specific skills which allows the learner immediate feedback per question - that's "Just Logical!" A few months ago, a request was made by South Forsyth Middle School teacher and Doctoral student, Jo-Anne Jackson, that QW look into this style of quizzing. It didn't take long to realize that her thinking was quite logical and would help students when studying specific skill areas - anything from verbs and nouns to division or map skills.
In taking Just Logical quizzes, the student continues to select responses to each question until they get the correct answer. By doing so, they are able to apply the same logic on the next question reinforcing the same skill. Each Just Logical quiz can measure up to three skill sets at a time, determined by the person creating the quiz.
QW is very excited to offer this new style of quizzing within our site and look forward to user input. Four sample quizzes can be found on the Home Page of QW by clicking on the Just Logical logo. Check it out - it's "JUST LOGICAL!"
